UGA Genealogy Training/Tutorial Library
Appropriate training and tutorials will enhance your experience as a genealogist. UGA sponsors the UGA Genealogy Training and Tutorial Library (UGaTT), which will eventually consist of several hundred courses to assist you in Research, Technology, and Specialization. Divided into a three-level curriculum consisting of Bronze, Silver, and Gold courses, the first level allows the beginning genealogist to improve their skills and prepare for the more advanced Silver and Gold levels. Participants earn pins and certificates for program completion. Parts of the Bronze level will always be free to the general public, with the more advanced Bronze, Silver and Gold Levels available to UGA members as they are completed.

FamilySearch.org Training Courses
In addition to the UGaTT courses sponsored by UGA, FamilySearch.org is creating a library of several thousand video self-instruction courses available to the interested genealogist at no cost. These consist of over 30 "core" classes, over 1000 courses dealing with specific locales, and close to 3000 courses in advanced and specialized areas.
